放血疗法是针刺方法的一种，即《内经》中的刺络法，是用“三棱针”根据不同的病情，刺破人体特定部位的浅表血管，放出适量的血液，通过活血理气，达到治疗的目的。放血疗法在疾病治疗中发挥了重要的作用，古代医家对放血疗法非常重视，《素问·血气形志篇》说：“凡治病必先去其血。”《灵枢·热病篇》中说： “心疝暴痛，取足太阴、厥阴尽刺去其血络。”

It all started when i hurt my right feet. Ryan came and volunteered herself for massage. Then she discovered the injury on my left feet, which i rolled my leg into the bicycle wheel. "Hey this gonna be something. Go meet the Chinese traditional physician and check it out. There's a technique called 拔罐. It can help."

With full trust to Ryan, i begged mummy for the treatment. "She says there's a treatment that can help." that's what i told Mummy. However it gone all wrong when i arrived at the clinic. The physician nodded as i told him how i get the injury on my right leg, and how Ryan discover the injury on my left leg.

I started feeling regret as the small bottles sucked up my part of feet where blood clot occurs. I felt pain coming in and asked :"Is this the maximum level of pain?" The physician is treating another woman, where obviously he is avoiding my question. "Which means my blood will come out by itself through the skin? Wow that will be a miracle." Mummy was reading the paper and not answering. I waited patiently but pain continued to flood in.

Here came the physician. With the needle-in-the-lancet hold in his hand. What the hell is this? A voice in my ear: "Prick your leg then." "Bear with this, this gonna hurt. Don't look at how i do the thing k?" What the hell again? Oh my god. My thought haven't calm down but a sense of bone-attacking pain coming in, not once, but so many times!! Till i turn my head to other side and yell :"Till when i have to stand this?? ah~~" The physician quickly cover back the 'port' with the bottle. This is what it looks like: (What a pain!! ><)

Oh hell. I don't know how many times i want to say What The Hell. Seeing my blood flow out like don't-know-what (i'm totally speechless ok), i heard physician saying : this is the blood clot inside all the while. i remembered myself asking : "this is the end rite?" and  heard a relieving yes. Oh thank god. But it's not the end of all. It's the end of only one leg. The other?

The physician came again. This time looking at my right leg. Oh My God. He hold my leg in my legs. "What? You gonna prick it again?" "Hmm only pricking it will do? Can't you just massage or use the acupuncture?" Mummy defended. "Hmm doing this way will be far more effective." What? I'm all prepared to run away. No chance, he took charge of my leg. He started placing the bottle on and suck up the air. It's hard because it's at the upper feet (less fat there perhaps? xP). The continuous pain came along again, and i started yelling. "Ah~~ why-one-more-time? How-long-will-this-take?" Luckily it is just a small area. Physician proudly pointed the near-to-black-colored blood to Mummy and said "See?"

I walked out the clinic with both legs covered in plaster and i'm so glad that i survived. Phew. I went home with the advices : no touching water today, use the hair-dryer to blow the part to enhance blood circulation and if possible, use some massage oil and massage it over the part. Thank God i survived.

PS: after i opened up the plaster it became this!! Well, i looked like a drug addict now rite? (But why i choose my leg to inject? xP Whatever..)
