Life In KMK.

Well, i am having my mid-semester holiday. (What a usual usual opening)
My holiday's supposed to be 10 days, but minus one for flight, minus one for going back, it is more or less 8 days. Fuuh. At last i am home, after 2 months of studying and letting my hair growing like weeds.

What i want to comment about this two months?
Hmmm. First, about Kedah Matriculation College. I believe government's effort to put a matriculation college (ok, it's build) in the northest part of Malaysia, at Changlun Kedah (8 more km to Thailand >_<) and UUM up there is a wise one, as we can see Changlun is having it's own C-mart (Woohoo.. shopping centre lerh, our must-go place during outing), ever- developing hotel and transportation industries, and i realised that to make a place developed, the way is to put a uni or matriculation college there. Well, Changlun is obviously a little bit 'mundur' than my hometown (owh, Bahau, i love it!), but still okey, it has Marrybrown, shopping centers and of course if you want a cinema there is no choice. Go to Jitra.

Kompleks Changloon. Our must go place during outing. Aka C-mart.

No doubt government had invested hefty sum of money here. Absolutely nice infrastructure.

The place i spent much time. Likes it's air-cond and comfortable seats. - KMK's library

KMK's 'tangki air'. torch-light shaped.

Two months here. I entered KMK with mummy saying 'You will leave here soon. JPA will be calling you.' I wait and wait for the news to come but obviously at last i failed to secure it. I had my sad moments crying in front of Jie Ying. And i watched Jie Ying and Michelle walk away from KMK. I found out that for a long moment i did look up on my own self, feeling like having an excellent SPM result is the pass for everything.

Wrong. Absolutely wrong. There are people with 11A+, the one who can play sports well as well as performing excellently on academics, having advanced grade 8 ballet skills, having skills to play traditional chinese instruments. I feel grateful that i have this chance to see how excellent people survive in here. And my SPM result did secured me a PIDN scholarship. In matriculation, everyone's starting from zeros. You gotta fight for your own posts, quiz marks, lab reports marks.. And i've seen people aggressively demanding for higher marks from lecturers, or requesting for re-quiz due to unsatisfactorily not getting full marks. I really want to scream 'Walawweyh! Can't you be grateful with what you get?'

8am to 4pm is our class. Tutorials, practicals, co-curricular activities, lectures... Be grateful you get good lecturers, be patient if you get the bad ones. There's no bad lecturers, it's only the matter of how you judge them. And i am very lucky to have good lecturers, and of course good practicum mates. After 4pm it's really free, and i and my friends (actually it had evaluate into gang) will constantly have our dinner at 6.30pm. We share jokes, stories and of course gossips on the cafe table. And once in a while we celebrate birthday with each other.

Karkay's birthday ^^ This is only a portion of the Chinese students in KMK ^^

My holiday is half-gone. And i haven't open up my book to read Kreb's cycle. Owh dang. Guess I will write again if i had ample time for my studies. K. Adios.
