Surgery posting with Dr Ng

Today marked the last day of our 1 month classes with Dr Ng. Whoah, just felt like overwhelmed by thoughts and feelings. So I feel like writing something here haa

In Jusco Bukit Tinggi for farewell meal this afternoon yeayy :)
Started the posting with rather relaxed Prof Thambidorai and had some basics. Felt so nervous when I knew Dr Ng will be our next tutor. Bro had been telling me: "He is a good person inside his heart. Just keep all his valuable teaching and forget about the rest." But things started rough ahha, he joked all around but we dare not laugh, and he's picky when we perform our short cases, and do ward rounds when we can't prepare any cases for short case.

But he really pushed us, and he had that power to make you work hard.

He was never late, and despite the minimum requirement of 3 classes per week for surgeons, he came 4 days. Never late. One of our few classes are even at 7.15 or 7 in the morning, and we can basically see his car 15 minutes before the class starts. Without fail.

Well just putting aside all the bad comments or stories we heard about him, he really is a good teacher. Although we still can't find the % of white appendix, % of primary hepatocellular carcinoma which is multicentric, we did know a lot about principles of pathophysiology and investigations :) And our friends are all amazed and we felt so proud :) Hee :) And all that thanks to Dr Ng's homework hahaa

Dr spoke to us during the meal about his posting and stuffs. Well not to be over, but we really need people like him to stand up and make noise about wrong things and to support the correct decisions.

This post might seem meaningless but it wrapped up the mixed feeling of mine after waving goodbye to Dr Ng just now hahaa :) Erkk time to finish my 2 case summaries =.=
