Hunger Games
Oh my godd i love hunger games so much! Have tonnes of work to be done in this relatively short sem break so i'm only writing a short one for this awesome-moresome movie =) Missed the movie in Mid Valley because Mugu watched it and so i bored Mugu and Chong Hon up with The Vow instead LOL. So today after settling the terribly taxing scholarship application stuffs i went for hunger games session with Yin and we literally have the whole cinema to ourselves (Okay plus 2 more dunno-who, if they count). So 4 people in one large hall! Imagine that. Good for us as we are discussing all the way long =D
So luckily Mugu gave me a short and brief storyline about the sister replacing her sister to go for a game kind of thing, so i didn't went blank because we came in to the cinema late =S Okay soon after that i realized i was watching a movie based on an insane HUNGER GAME where 2 representatives were sent from each district to participate in it.. And it's for the sake of to be watched by people..? =S So it started off with Katnis replacing her sister, together with Peeta representing District 12 for the Hunger Games =)
However i am certainly impressed by the storyline of the movie (by Suzanne Collins), as from the description from Mugu i am expecting a horror movie kinda scenes repeating on and on as the tributes kill off each other and i shall just close my eyes through out the movie. I'm amazed by the idea of the author arranging ideas like putting up a fashion show and interview of the representatives to actually attracts sponsors..for their needs.? (Like the ointment Katnis desperately needs when she's injured) And the idea of having trainers and stylist for each tributes, for training and advicing purposes etc. The movie had actually kept me following it for 2 hours plus and i'll give 10 out of 10 rating for sure! (By the way Katnis did resemble Xin Lun, my coursemate and the officer who came to select representatives from District 12 looked like the queen in 'Alice in Wonderlands'.. Hmm is it because of the lips? LOL)
Hmm definitely a nice movie to show how friends and enemies are related during the extreme conditions =) Thumbs up (Y)
