Hey my fellow bloggie, and my imaginarily existing readers or you those stumbled upon this:
It's the 6th week of my classes, and i am having a week holiday for Deepavali =D Ehem.. Correction..! 4 days only to be frank, as i will head to Baling, Kedah for the Academic and Attitude Excellence Camp, the KKAA. It's a camp to motivate those 2nd Formers in secondary schools to buck up and study for their coming-in-one-year-time PMR. And the thing is all the participant are actually orphans =S (When i know this i was thinking about how i should talk so that i wont hurt their fragile and sensitive hearts. Oh gosh) But then i am actually a smalllll little behind-the-scene AJKs so i basically leave all the interaction sessions to the Facilitators =D (The facilitators are leaded by Abang Jebat, which i think will be nice enoughh =D)
Okay, back to the business. Medicine, what do I think? If your perception is those Handsomes And Pretties wearing gorgeous Formal wear with Perfectly Bleached white coat outside, talking with ultimate professionalism, diagnosing with awesome interpretation.. You are partially correct. Ahahaha! Yea we may have the appearance but the knowledge part... I prefer to leave it to your wisdom. The reason i was saying this was... Ok i rather don't explain. Look at our buddy notes and books and before you shape your mouth into an 'O' you shall understand.

Read this all and get into the viva voce Distinction Interview ROOM!!! =S
And now it's the time. You are the coursemates of those brilliant brains and study-hard-and-play-harder kakis, from CLHS, PCGHS, top schools from all over the country, and the top STPM scorer. In the lecture hall, the guys sitting at the upper compartment of the hall who slept understands more than you who hear with cautious and great focus in the lower compartment. In tutorials, they bombard the lecturers with question for clarification and you could only jot them down to refer later. In the prosection hall, you are still identifying the tuberosities on the radius and ulna while they had moved MILESS away to the muscle in the superficial layer of the posterior compartment of the forearm. And your buddy tells you 'Be on your own tempo and Don't Kiasu (Afraid to lose). Tell me how possible is that?
Su-Ann once told me she started questioning herself in 3rd year whether she is in the right course. And now basically i'm questioning myself (but of course not all the time, i consider this when i am reading anatomy. Hell ><) However i found out i will understand better when i read it cover to cover, and put aside the messy prosection guide. Darr. I need time, i guess. TO really adapt to university learning lifestyle, and to know how to handle things on my own. Everybody has to go through this harsh time, and i will try. =)

What i wanna tell here is.. UM is really a nice place! (More about my life later) In what sense? In providing great chances everywhere for us to learn. Well i am not in other universities so i don't know what's going on there, but UM had actually provided all-rounded training for us to be future doctors. Why i said so? Because other than all those lectures and let-you-to-understand-everything tutorial sessions, the Physiology Practicals and Histology sessions are useful (You have all equipments on your own! How nice rite =) Just that Histo classes make us sleepy. Darn.). Not to forget the prosection which are nice (if you read before you enter and not psychoed by your brilliant labmates!) And UM basically cared about how we communicate so there's Personal and Professional Development classes, and Problem Based Learning sessions, which actually prepared a large platform for us to interact. I feel sooo lucky to be in UM! =)
I guess i had blogged enough this time! So.. shall tell more about our Minggu Haluan Siswa few weeks back.. If i had time. Oh yea and our big O too! Please pray for my journey to home and Baling safe ones. See ya!
YZ.
